Nerd Discussion: Bioshock Series

MCS1 & Caleb discuss the Bioshock series (1,2,Infinite, DLCS, book, etc). They discuss the cultural aspects of Rapture and Columbia as well as influences that creators placed into the game.

The prequel Novel "Rapture" really helped set the stage for Bioshock and it's crazy under the sea community. 

Each Bioshock game had a theme.  Bioshock one was Capitalism, Bioshock 2 was socialism and Bioshock Inflate was nationalism.  Bioshock One was heavily influenced by political Author Ayn Rand. some other statements were from the communist manefesto but reversed to have a more capitalistic appaorch.

Bioshock 2 was amazing because you could see the aftermath of the events of Bioshock One. As well as play as a overpowered Big Daddy. 

The color in Bioshock Infinite was just remarkable. As well as the concept of a floating city.
